Please post your questions for Interview with Jason Rodriguez and creators from the Jason Rodriguez Postcards anthology.

About the interview:
cIndycenter.com has set-up a conference call with several of the creators involved in the Jason Rodriguez Postcards anthology. Guests include: Jason Rodriguez, Tom Beland, James W. Powell, and a very special guest to be annouced.

About the book:
You've seen them at flea markets and in antique shops and used bookstores across the country. Vintage postcards with handwritten notes from the past, evocative messages that capture a thought, an expression, a concern, a snapshot of someone's life once upon a time.

Jason Rodriguez has collected a remarkable array of these correspondences, dispersed them among thirty-three of comic's greatest creators, and asked them to each create a story about the person who sent it. The result is a vividly imagined, gorgeously rendered graphic novel anthology illustrating tales of romance, adventure, hardship, and mystery. In [POSTCARDS], these gifted artists share some of the most rich and inventive work of their careers.

Are you eyeing any creators for a second book? Will it be all the same creators?

How many copies are being published?

Nice to see talk of a second book. Jason what was your approach to the writers in describing what you were looking for? How did this defer from other projects you have worked on?

Did you assign Pekar and the others certain postcards or did they get to chose from a bunch?

How did you get Villard or Harvey Pekar to take you seriously (not sure who you approached first)?

1. How did you go about Pairing the artist and writers together in teams? Was their a method to this?

2. How did you go about finding publishers to put out Postcards and how long did that prosses take?

3. To the artists/writers,
Since this is an anthology of many short stories, did any of you stray from what your regular style of "creating" is, and expirement / play with any different ideas or techniques of storytelling?

I'm really looking forward to seeing what all of you have done, from what I've seen so far the book looks great!

It's kind of hard to ask questions since the book isn't out yet. When is it due out? Color? Black and white?
